How can we help?
How do I switch my state or ZIP code?
Tap the state pill in the top-left corner of the Today, Reps, or Hearings tab. You can choose any of the 50 U.S. states, enter a 5-digit U.S. ZIP code, or tap Use Current Location to match your exact legislative districts.
How do I bookmark bills?
Swipe left on any bill card in the feed, or tap the bookmark button in the top-right corner of a bill's detail screen. View all of your saved bills anytime by tapping the bookmark icon in the top-right corner of the Today tab.
Where does Ledger's legislative data come from?
Federal bills, chamber actions, and Congressional roll-call votes come from official U.S. Congress data (Congress.gov, U.S. House Clerk, and U.S. Senate XML feeds). State bills, roll-call votes, and committee hearings across all 50 states come from OpenStates v3 and official state capitol records.
Why does a representative's voting record show recent votes only?
Representative detail pages highlight the latest recorded roll-call votes from recent legislative activity so they load quickly on your device. Tap any bill in their voting record to inspect the full chamber tally and official legislative text.
Where is my data stored?
Your saved bills and state preferences are stored only on your iPhone. No account is required. Read our full Privacy Policy.
